Unitarian Universalist Church of Spokane

All UUCS members are invited and encouraged to our Annual Congregational Meeting called by the Board of Trustees. In addition to hearing reports from church leadership, members will be asked to consider and vote on the following:

• Candidates for the 2013-14 church year nominated to fill positions on the Board of Trustees, Nominating and Endowment teams.

• 2013-14 fiscal year operating budget. — Fiscal year runs from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2014

• Revisions to Article XI of the UUCS Bylaws regarding the church Endowment. ** — Call for vote requires 15% quorum of voting members to be present at the meeting. Changes must receive a 2/3rds positive majority to pass.

• Congregational resolution for the Abolition of the Death Penalty — Proposed by the UUCS Social Justice Council and endorsed by the Minister and the Board of Trustees.

NOTES:

* There will be a single, 11 am worship service on this date with the Congregational Meeting immediately following. A pancake breakfast will be served before the service from 9:30 - 10:30 pm. $5 suggested donation will go support our church programs.
