Deborah has been on staff since 1989 and directs our three choirs: the Mixed Choir, the Women's Choir, and the Children's Choir. She views music as the "central spiritual element" of worship. She has a B.A. in Music Education from Pacific Lutheran University and has played piano for over forty years.

Gennie Gregg,
Pianist

Gennie has her Bachelor's degree in Music from the North Carolina School of the Arts and her Master's degree from the St. Louis Conservatory of Music. She has done work at the University of Washington toward her doctorate. She has studied under Joseph Kalichstein, the former Artistic Director of the Lincoln Center Chamber Orchestra; and Jerome Lowenthal, the former chair of the Piano Department at the Julliard School.

Gennie was born and raised in Spokane and, in addition to her music, enjoys sketching and her birds, cats, and rabbit.
